Tasting Notes and Scores
Two ha. Bottled end of August. Very little wine from these four parcels since 2011: Les Narvaux, Le Limozin, Les Grands Charrons, Les Pelles. Meursault is hot and the skins were a little roasted. There is a slight toasty note but no new oak. Very crisp but with the richness of ripeness. Slight sourness on the finish as if there were gentian in it – ‘les jolies amers’, says Pascal Pacalet. Bone dry and really crisp to cut through the ripe citrus and pear. (JH)
