Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2022 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru contains around 50% whole bunches (due to a lot of millerandage) and 30% new oak. It has a poised bouquet with black cherries, raspberry, wet clay and potpourri scents that unfold in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with edgy tannins, quite firm and saline, with dark berry fruit, white pepper and clove. The finish is persistent with good sapidity on the aftertaste. Very classy.
