The 2022 Charmes-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru has a delineated, very focused bouquet of animated red fruit laced with crushed stone and oyster shell aromas. The palate is very well-balanced with finely sculpted tannins. It is quite saline in the mouth, harmonious with a sleek, sensual finish. Afford this Grand Cru several years in bottle.
