Saturated deep red with ruby highlights. Somehwat sauvage aromas of blackberry, cassis and spices, plus a resiny nuance. Sweet, chewy and very concentrated, with a peppery quality and underlying minerality giving lift and definition to the thick middle palate. This deep, sweet wine spreads out impressively to saturate the palate. The long finish features tactile tannins and less obvious oak character than the young 2013.
