(from purchased fruit from the lieux-dits Les Drazey and Les Gamaires; Lignier does the vineyard work): Bright medium red. Urgent aromas of cranberry and fresh strawberry accented by crushed stone. Juicy, spicy and pure, conveying a touch of rocky minerality and good minty lift to its red berry flavors. Finishes with a firm spine of tannins. I might have identified this very firm village wine blind as a 2014.
