Tasting Notes and Scores
Pure, precise aromas of lemon, lime, white peach and crushed rock; some of these vines are situated close to Chevalier-Montrachet. Densely packed and distinctly chewy, showing ripe lemon oil and peach flavors and a tactile impression of dry extract. The most phenolic of these 2014s to this point, finishing chalky, chewy and lightly tannic.

Vinous
The 2014 Saint Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly has a feisty, energetic, animated bouquet that I hope will be translated once into bottle. This just "zings" around the mouth thanks to the citrus fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp acidity and subtle tropical tones (dried pineapple and even mango), with lovely salinity towards the finish. Olivier Lamy has fashioned another riveting En Remilly.

Intense lemon and liquorice on the nose of this wine. Solid effort with lots to chew on. (JR)
