Tasting Notes and Scores
This cuvée is blended from grapes harvested in four separate parcels in the heart of the appellation, underneath the premiers crus and using vines at least 50 years of age. After destemming and ageing in older casks, the lovely plummy fruit shines through this wine, with a dense, rich texture that is not lacking a firm tannic grip on the palate.

Deeper and more age-worthy, the 2019 Volnay Vendanges Sélectionées delivers pretty notions of rose petals, violets, plums and berries, complemented by rich bass notes of loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it's bright and penetrating, built around refined tannins and tangy acids.
