Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chenevottes 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet with honeysuckle, lemon thyme and light crushed stone scents. Good focus here and well integrated oak. The palate does not quite match the aromatics, just missing a little grip and substance.

Cask sample. Cool, reserved and precise. A memorable Chassagne with great reserves of power and acidity to promote long ageing. Delicious already, this has many years ahead. Purity of flavour. Crystalline. Lovely. (AWH)
