Tasting Notes and Scores
From a plot of 60-year-old vines in the commune of Pommard, the 2019 Bourgogne Rouge Le Vieux Sage wafts from the glass with inviting aromas of dark berries, orange rind, cloves and other warm spices. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with lively acids and powdery tannins, it concludes with a perfumed finish.
