Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2022 Pommard Les Chaponnières 1er Cru has more complexity on the nose compared to the Les Perrières: bilberry and blackberry fruit, just a touch of graphite, well-defined and fresh. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, quite structured and what you might call "serious" Pommard. There’s gentle grip with a slightly savory finish that needs a little more nerve. Drink over the next decade.
