The 2023 Volnay Les Fremiets 1er Cru is floral, light on its feet and quite gracious. Crushed rose petal, spice, blood orange, mint and dried herbs give the Fremiets a very pretty register of high-toned aromatics that serves to balance the overt expression of primary fruit.
