The 2022 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru is an intense, driving wine that is still very much coming together. It stands out in this range because it is the only wine made with stems, in this case 50%, which yields a different overall feel than the other reds. Dark red/purplish fruit, lavender, crushed leaves and a sheen of new oak gradually take shape in the glass. This embryonic Burgundy is a wine for those who can be patient.
