Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru already conveys a sense of completeness on the focused nose; black plum, sous-bois , hints of graphite and sea spray all lend complexity. The medium-bodied palate of sappy red berry fruit is quite spicy and lively. Touches of brown spice and clove lend more complexity to the very persistent finish. This is a superb offering from Grivot this year.
