Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2021 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru offers more red fruit than the Echézeaux, a bit disjointed at the moment although it should meld together with time. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit and a fine bead of acidity. Just a slightly lactic note detracts from the delineation on the finish. Drink over the next decade.
