Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Poissenot 1er Cru clearly represents a level-up over the Village Crus from this Domaine - more definition and mineralité in situ, slightly more focus. The palate is well balanced with a sorbet-like freshness on the entry. This has a fine spine of acidity, quite light on its feet, nimble with good length on the finish. Enjoy over 12-15 years.

Regal colour. Youthful nose, fresh, ripe dark cherry and damson. Super sweetness to the fruit. Good acidity and nice tannin structure to support. Long future ahead. (AWH)
