The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Feusselottes 1er Cru lacks complexity on the nose, comes across rather generic compared to Geantet-Pansiot’s other crus. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannins, moderate depth. yet it just lacks charm and personality on the finish.

A little lighter on the palate, less dense in colour, more typically Pinot than some. Fine balance between ripeness, concentration and some fine acidity. A very elegant wine which clearly demonstrates its Chambolle upbringings. (AWH)
