The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Goulots 1er Cru offers incense and rose petal notes on the nose. It features mainly red fruit but has very good mineralité and a subtle touch of cassis in the background. The palate is medium-bodied and nicely poised, with fine delineation and ebullient red berries mixed with soy and light tobacco notes. Very persistent on the finish, this is a well-crafted and characterful Gevrey.

The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Goulots is one of the most mineral wines in the range, offering up notes of cherries, raspberries, orange zest and rose petals, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny palate that's bright and saline.
