Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2018 Meursault Village offers grapefruit, blood orange and light candle wax aromas on the nose that needs a little coaxing from the glass. The palate is taut and crisp on the entry. This has very fine acidity with impressive tension and salinity on the finish. This Meursault from Fichet comes recommended.

Tank sample. Riper and more obviously oaky than the Bourgogne Blanc. Creamy, chewy and fresh with pure citrus brightness. (JH)

Light nose. Sweet start. Definitely not the new austere style of Meursault, though there is sufficient acidity on the palate. Perfectly fine, just not quite fine enough for the price. (JR)
