The 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis Village offers slightly darker fruit than the Gevrey-Chambertin, straightforward but clean. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chalky tannins. I appreciate the citrus undertow of this Morey, focused with a tensile, almost steely finish. Fine.
