Wafting from the glass with an inviting bouquet of sweet red cherries, berries, orange rind and spices, the 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis Village is medium to full-bodied, supple and elegant, with powdery structuring tannins, fine concentration and a nicely defined finish.

From the Gevrey side, including some Charrières premier cru. Just one punchdown throughout the entire fermentation. Barrel sample. Deep cherry red. Sweet, ripe and deeply fruited. Some floral notes. Black cherry too. Rich, juicy and gorgeously dark fruited. Firm yet velvety. Lovely freshness even with all this dark fruit. (JH)
