Tasting Notes and Scores
Medium red. Ethereal, soil-driven aromas of raspberry, dried rose, spices and underbrush. Sweet, lush and seamless, with pepper and spice elements giving this wine a deceptive lightness (like a Dujac wine from 20 years ago?). Finishes with compelling spreading breadth and terrific verve.

Tasted at the Domaine. This Clos-Saint-Denis has an engaging stony, gravely nose with a touch of dried fruits underlying the dark cherries and pomegranate. Damp moss with aeration. There is a little hardness on the entry that should soften with time, indeed it seems to loosen up with a few swirls of the glass. Nice weight, crushed stones, very linear and correct towards the finish. It will need a several years in bottle before it enters its drinking plateau. Stern, aloof but intriguing. Drink 2013-2025. Tasted January 2009.
