The 2021 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru has a straightforward nose with dark berry fruit, a little sullen compared to its peers. The palate is quite weighty in the mouth, rounded with black pepper and clove, gentle grip with a soft landing where you just want a bit of backbone. One of the earlier-drinking Clos de la Roche wines.
