Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Village, matured in 30% new oak and 25% whole bunches, seems to lack cohesion on the nose at the moment, missing some presence. The palate is medium-bodied with more depth and fruit intensity. It is not a complex Chambolle and a bit austere on the finish, but the whole bunches lend a little grip and spice on the finish. It should give several years of drinking pleasure.

15% whole bunches in this riper vintage. Cask sample. Mid crimson. Beautifully scented with red fruits and a hint of flowers. Firmer and darker-fruited on the palate. Exceptional depth of fruit inside smooth but definite tannins. A beauty of a village wine. (JH)
