Tasting Notes and Scores
0.48 hectares, 65-year-old vines. Below Les Suchots Premier Cru and borders Romanée-St-Vivant at one corner and Échezeaux Clos Saint-Denis at another. Barrel sample. Deep purplish crimson. Dark-fruited, ripe with some vanilla sweetness. The firm, dry tannins are a good counterpoint to the fruit. Tight, zesty and full of energy. (JH)
