Vines aged 75 and 50 years. Cooling influence from the combe . Barrel sample. Deep cherry red. Riper and darker than the Combe d’Orveau, less immediately charming. More power, firmer structure, more time needed. Firm, chewy but with lovely pure fruit at its heart. (JH)
