Tasting Notes and Scores

94 ST

(the vines here are 30 and 50 years of age): Ruby-red. Musky, deep aromas of black raspberry and roasted meat, plus a touch of baked bread. Wonderfully sweet and supple if backward today, even youthfully imploded. In its sedate impression and wonderfully silky, seamless texture, this could hardly be more different from the tauter Mazis. Really glides across the palate. Best right now on the extremely long, utterly seamless finish, which boasts noble tannins and leaves the mouth perfumed.
