The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Les Chalandins offers brambly red berry fruit mixed with rose petal and damp earthy notes on the slightly muted nose. The medium-bodied palate features red cherries mixed with orange peel and apricot. This is cohesive and poised, the 50% whole bunch nicely enmeshed on the finish. Excellent.

Bright cherry red. Peppery dark fruit. Light bodied with the tannins to suit. Moreish, with the tannins seeming to provide the freshness. (JH)
