89-91 NM

The 2019 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos des Godelles 1er Cru is matured with 40% whole bunch. That comes through quite strongly on the nose, which is peppery and earthy, and nicely defined if just driven by the stem addition at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red berry fruit, the whole bunch element again influencing the peppery finish. Fine.
