Tasting Notes and Scores
Outstanding. A backdrop of oak sets off the airy, cool and very pure black pinot fruit, plum and anise nuances. There is a firm minerality to the refined, precise and racy flavors that terminate in a linear, saline-infused and highly persistent finish where the wood resurfaces. An elegant and understated wine of finesse. Drink: 2019+

Good medium red. Stony aromas of raspberry, licorice and graphite. Fresh, juicy and youthfully medicinal, with good energy to its tight flavors of dark cherry, raspberry, flowers and fresh herbs. Showing less personality today than the Aux Murgers, this premier cru will need time in bottle to blossom.
