Cask sample. Pale purplish crimson. Boiled red-sweet (hard-candy) aromas and good freshness on the palate – definitely fresher than the Monthelies. Attractive and already charming with masses of quite crystalline fruit. Dry finish after the sweet start. Lively. (JR)
