The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Champ Canet 1er Cru has a rather obvious candied peachy nose that lacks mineralité and feels a bit blowsy. The palate is much more rounded in style, perhaps with a bit of botrytised fruit, simple and rather one-dimensional on the finish. Early drinking. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
