The 2021 Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru is matured in 450-liter barrels for the first time. This has another fragrant and convincing bouquet like the Charmes-Chambertin. It's focused and linear, with ample, vivacious, red fruit laced with rose petals and peonies. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins, a taut line of acidity and a persistent, open finish with commendable energy and tension.
