(sulfited ten days before my visit; these old vines produced small berries and a yield of just 18 hectoliters per hectare in 2015): Enticing aromas of ripe peach and apple, musky hazelnut and sexy spices. Fat, silky and utterly seamless, with its richness nicely counterpointed by well-integrated acidity. A serious mouthful of wine with a long, spicy, lightly dusty finish.
