The 2020 Corton Grand Cru has a lively bouquet, well-defined with blackberry and raspberry fruit, touches of chalk dust. The palate is well balanced with a touch of reduction, good density with brambly red berry fruit laced with black pepper and clove on the finish. Very fine.

70% whole clusters; cask sample. Bright mid ruby; as Cortons go, not so hard. It appears quite supple, but it’s just a nascent shell. (MH)
