The 2023 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru has a much lighter bouquet than the 2022 from barrel last year—well defined if just missing a little fruité . The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. It is quite elegant and understated in style, with gentle grip and an easygoing, lightly spiced finish. Fine.
