Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2013 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Combottes has an elegant, mineral-driven bouquet that soars from the glass in a Vosne-like style. The palate is medium-bodied with chalky tannins, fine depth and an elegant, quite understated mocha-tinged finish. This should be worth seeking out once released.

Mid crimson. Very rich and like a violin string it vibrates so much. Tannins quite obvious, bit like walnut skins. Still very youthful. (JR)
