Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2013 Echézeaux Grand Cru has a crisp, fresh red cherry and orange-sorbet bouquet that opens up with confidence in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins and gentle grip with a tannic finish. This is a more masculine Echezeaux (stylistically not a million miles away from Domaine d’Eugenie’s ’13) and it deserves a few years in bottle.

Mid crimson. Crunchy fruit and lots of bite. Marked acidity with a good undertow. All very clean and pure, like all wines from this producer. Long. Tight. (JR)
