Delicate and perfumed, the 2021 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Plantes exhibits pretty aromas of peonies, red berries, plums and orange zest. Medium-bodied, ample and satiny, with a seamless, melting profile and an expansive, fragrant finish, it will be hard to resist on release.

The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Les Plantes 1er Cru has a well defined bouquet despite just a touch of reduction, sous-bois scents percolating up with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly lactic entry, harmonious and poised, lightly spiced towards the surprisingly sweet and forward finish. This will need just a few months in bottle.
