Tasting Notes and Scores

92 NM

The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet En Remilly 1er Cru has a well-defined, mineral-driven bouquet with good tension and focus, a little flintiness in the background. The palate is well-defined, fresh and vibrant, good salinity here with a vibrant and lingering finish. This feels very composed and has a promising future.

16.5 JR

Cask sample. Rich palate and creamy texture. Possibly too rich for some white-burgundy classicists? But there's an impressive skein of acidity too. (JR)
