Tasting Notes and Scores

Healthy dark red. Aromas of blackberry, licorice and menthol. Surprisingly supple on entry after the slightly medicinal nose, conveying a clear sweetness to the flavors of griotte cherry and licorice. Then tightens up toward the end, finishing with serious tannins that are nicely buffered by minerality. The wine's calcaire energy enlivens and extends the finish.
