Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Village has an attractive nose; the stems are a defining feature (70% whole bunches), lending an earthy pepperiness to the dark berry fruit. The palate is well balanced, not complex, yet fresh with those stems again, maybe a little too prominent for some on the finish. Drinking perfectly now, it should give another decade of drinking pleasure. Tasted at Bistro Cocotte in Beaune.

The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Village offers up aromas of raspberries, plum and smoked duck, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and open-knit palate that's framed by chalky tannins.
