The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Les Suchots 1er Cru has a very reduced nose that smothers the fruit and deprives it of terroir expression. The palate is framed by powdery tannins, a little meaty in style, with savoury red fruit and a rather dry bretty finish. I cannot see a long prospect for this Les Suchots. I cannot believe this is representative. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
