The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Les Petits-Monts 1er Cru was showing quite a bit of woodiness on the nose, though it seems simpatico with the fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a sensual, silky opening. Very sleek and poised with cherry liqueur and blood orange towards the sorbet-fresh finish. This is a bit of a femme fatale.
