Tasting Notes and Scores
A blend of 85% Sémillon and 15% Sauvignon Blanc, the 2022 Haut-Bergeron reveals a fresh, delicate and complex bouquet of ripe orchard fruits, grapefruit, exotic fruits and lovely spicy notes. Medium to full-bodied, dense and enveloping, it achieves perfect balance with bright acidity, a stunning texture from Botrytis cinerea and a long, ethereal finish tinged with mango. This wine is undoubtedly a superb value and one I would eagerly add to my cellar.

The 2022 Haut-Bergeron has a compact nose that takes time to unfurl in the glass: dried hone, caramelized pear, orange blossom and linseed. The palate is well balanced with a viscous opening, fine depth, countervailing acidity and a dab of stem ginger on the finish. One of the more elegant Sauternes this year.
