75% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. Cask sample. Red-fruit notes from the Merlot. Fresh but a little lean on the palate. Robust and chewy on the finish. Seems to lack a bit of depth. (JL)
